I saw that it was a different reader. Why would they do that? Jim Dale read all of Potter - why not Parker all of Fowl?

Hit the wrong button, forgot to copy my comment. *sigh* I'm going to bed.

The gist of it was: Artemis Fowl is an awesome series! I love Artemis and Butler. Just not together, lest you think that. *G* But don't listen to book #6, read it instead. Different reader and he's not nearly as good as Nathaniel. :(

Now, BTVS in Regency? Love Regenices, love the Buffy/Angel ship...I'm so there!

I love being here Kat! I feel so special being the first guest blogger. I'd be happy to come back anytime - just let me know! :D
Thanks SonomaLass! I am definitely interested in the Gardella books. Buffy the Vampire Slayer in Regency? Holy cow! I have to get those asap - Buffy is my hero--ine! lol I loved that show. I was a Buffy/Angel shipper through and through. Which book is the first in the series?

I really enjoyed Miranda Neville's Never Resist Temptation when I read it, too. If you enjoy "foodie" romance, though, the best I've ever read is Delicious by Sherry Thomas -- one of my faves last year. For excellent historical romance, I also recommend Scandal by Carolyn Jewel for those who can get a copy -- easy in the US, probably not in Australia. Same with Tessa Dare, whose debut historical trilogy is fanstastic.
Colleen Gleason's Gardella books (which I have finally gotten around to) are good -- Buffy in the Regency, sort of. They aren't classed as YA, but the first one had a very "coming of age" feel for me. I just got my hands on another YA that I can't wait to read, Ash by Malinda Lo. It looks like it will be VERY good.

Thanks for the guest post, Keira! This month's standout books for me were Dark Country by Bronwyn Parry (although technically I read it in August) and The Last Stormlord by Glenda Larke. I'll have to keep a look out for the books on your list---especially the Harlequin Historical, which isn't yet listed on the Australian M&B site. I've read Always a Scoundrel, and I remember liking the heroine a lot.
