A quickie with…Rhian Cahill, author of Christmas Wishes
Escape Publishing launch author Rhian Cahill talks about her latest book, Christmas Wishes.
Last month, I had the privilege of sitting down for a chat with Escape Publishing’s launch authors, and they agreed to let me post a short vodcast of them talking about their books an answering that most important question of all: Do you kill fairies?
This vodcast is with Rhian Cahill, author of Christmas Wishes and New Year’s Kisses. Cahill is best known as an erotic romance and romantic erotica author, so these more mainstream novellas are somewhat of a departure from her usual style.

Christmas Wishes

This Christmas, Santa is granting wishes these two friends never knew they had.
Helping his best friend photograph a bunch of hyperactive kids is suddenly the least of Dean Hall’s problems when he sees the costume Talli wants him to wear. No guy in his right mind wants to be seen in a pair of tights.
Talli Jarmen isn’t above a little subterfuge when she’s desperate for help. But getting Dean’s assistance proves to be more than she bargained for when she sees him decked out in the naughtiest Christmas costume she’s ever laid eyes on. She’s never thought about Dean that way, but seeing him practically naked has her questioning their ‘friends only’ status. But wanting more is dangerous. Are they willing to risk all they have for what could be?

Loving these vodcasts Kat. It’s great to put a face to the authors of Escape’s books and I really like the sound of Christmas Wishes!
Thanks, Lauren. My review of Christmas Wishes will be up soon. :-)

(Spindle Cove, Book 4) Just like a prospective Duchess, it was charming and witty and able to stand alone.
Whether you’re a tourist, an Indiana Jones wannabe (or you just love Harrison Ford) or an armchair traveller, this is the perfect book to take you away to faraway lands.
I love Loretta Chase and this story did not disappoint. I only wished it had been longer.
(Psy-Changeling, Book 12) Two Psy, each damaged in different ways. Ill-fated lovers. An emotionally repressed virgin hero who moves the earth for his true love. And all the feels. The feels! This one is definitely a keeper.
Compelling characters in an unusual but richly rendered setting—I felt the chill on their skin and harshness of the landscape.
(The Bridgertons, epilogues) The series that made me—and the rest of the world—falling in love with Julia Quinn. If you haven’t read this series, start now! If you have, then this is the cherry on the cake.
(Rivers of London, Book 1) Original, witty and fun—this is my new favourite series.
(The Edge, Book 3) Although there are familiar elements, there is something quite distinct about this series. I really enjoyed this difference.
(Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 11) The crack is back. This book will either allow you to exit the BDB world satisfied…or suck you right back in with a vengeance.
(Clockwork Agents, Book 1 and 2) An exciting, fast-paced and very, very sexy steampunk romance series.
