“Not interested in prizes or self-aggrandisement” = if people want to give me prizes, they can. But I won’t work for it. I hate when people run contests, and say “blog about this contest to get an extra entry”! Grr… Besides, I don’t like pimping contests, because it may mean that I’ll have more competitors, thus lessening my chances ;-) They claim it’s about giving the author more exposure, but it’s clear they’re trying to get their blog more attention. If people want to spread my blog link around, they’re welcome to, but I won’t bribe anyone to do that ;-)
