I only got up to them dropping the kit at the healers house.
Was muttering to myself outloud by then, so thought I had better put it down for a while.
What about physically?
I am sure I will get back to the book eventually, just had a couple romances pushing my occasionally militant feminist buttons lately and the much anticipated Singh pushing them made me throw a tanty.

Edie, where are you up to in the book? I think Mercy shows her strength more as the story progresses, and she does challenge Riley's assumption that he can make decisions for her. Also, I wouldn't give up until you at least meet the two Portuguese cats. Rawr!

I just started this today, have been saving it and saving it.. But I am in trouble already with it..
I tripped over comments about not being able to accept a submissive weak male, so does that make all the previous submissive female heroines weak?
And Riley overpowered her too easily.. she is a freakin sentinel and he is same level, yet he overpowered her in seconds?
Is all the book like that?
Is it going to be the first Nalini Singh I throw against the wall?
Help me here I am struggling! *pout*

chu6216067 - Glad you enjoyed the book!

Cindy - Looking forward to the buddy review! I've volunteered to write the cheat sheets for this series, but OMG it's taking me a while. (I ended up rereading Slave to Sensation without taking notes because I was enjoying myself too much.) I don't remember much about Clay/Tally. I didn't find their book as compelling as the others.

I LOVED IT!!! A post will go up at Breezing Thru with some of my thoughts in a buddy review with Nath.
I think this book has beat out all the others. I don't normally like books that start off with sex but it was such a nice change from her previous books where the sex scenes might come very late in the story.
And agreed about Hawke and Sienna (if they don't end up together I might just break!). I guess you and I are feeling the 'yearning' between these two. Damn, it's painful!
Glad you liked this one too. I do find the politics to be almost too involved in that I have to pay super attention to things or try to remember who exactly the person is. I now have Nikita and Kaleb down and I remember Henry and his wife but others who zip in and out make me pause and wonder 'have I met this person before?'
I didn't finish the Clay/Tally book (I didn't make it to a sex scene because wow, how they spun around each other so I didn't know who Dev Santos was/is so the preview for the next book left me wondering who everyone was. I might just save that one till the new year, closer to the next release date as long as I can stay as spoiler free as possible.

I went in spoiler-free for this one, too. I didn't even read the blurb! Let me know what you think when you've read it. :-)

I'm so excited that I only read the opening where you said 'oh, yeah, it's good' and the part about Hawke cause like you, I'm worried about my mental health when it comes to him. I'll be back after I finally get the book in my hot little hands - I try to go in spoiler free ;)
