BT019. Genre slayer

Guest: Sheri Cobb South | Host: Kat Mayo | Audio producer: Rudi Bremer | Recorded: 15/4/2016 RT Convention

Today’s show features an author whose name might take you back to the 80s. Sheri Cobb South’s debut novel, Wrong-Way Romance, for the now-defunct Sweet Dreams imprint is so sought after that it’s now a collector’s item. When I discovered that she would be at the Romantic Times Convention this year, I knew I had to try and meet her. I discovered that she’s since written historical romances and historical mysteries. (I’m currently in the middle of the audio version of The Weaver Takes a Wife.)

If you were a fan of Sweet Dreams books, this episode is dedicated especially for you. And if you have a copy of Wrong-Way Romance, I’d love to know how you got your copy!

Thanks to Tracy Cooper-Posey for her very honest insights on authors who experience harassment, and @charlesatan for his … let’s say creative suggestions for future episodes.
