BT006. How can it be work?

BT006. How can it be work?

Guest: Shona Husk | Host: Kat Mayo | Audio producer : Rudi Bremer | Recorded: 8/3/2015 ARRC

When I found out that WA-based author Shona Husk was releasing an f/f new adult rock band romance, I was so excited. I discovered Shona’s work through her debut novel, The Goblin King. She’s releasing an astonishing number of books this year, across different subgenres — contemporary, fantasy/paranormal, and space opera.

One of the funny things I noticed about this recording is that Shona and I pronounce ‘adult’ differently. The dictionary says this is okay, but now I’m curious: how do you say adult? Do you emphasise the second syllable, like Shona does, or do you linger on the A, like I do?

As always, a big thank you to Rudi, our audio producer, who once again had to cope with my microphone not actually being turned on. She is an audio wizard.

Finally, if you’re on Soundcloud, a limited number of podcast episodes are available here. However, if you want the most recent episodes as soon as they’re available, subscribing via iTunes or RSS will still get the to you more quickly. If you’re not sure how to subscribe to the podcast, you can find all the ways to do so here.

I’d love to know how you listen to the podcast, so I can focus on getting the episodes up on those platforms first!
