Guest: Adele Walsh | Host: Kat Mayo | Audio producer: Rudi Bremer | Recorded: 17/4/2016 RT Convention
Updated to add: You can find Adele’s NA romance recommendations here!
What better way to end our series of RT podcasts than to interview fellow Aussie reader Adele Walsh. You’ll have to forgive us for being a bit slurred — I think we were just coming down from the adrenalin rush of the Romantic Times Convention. The plus side is that we were perhaps a little more uninhibited than usual!
You might have noticed this by now, but I’m an interrupter. I try to curb this habit on the podcast, but sometimes I forget when I get caught up in the conversation, especially when I’m interviewing friends. So I apologise in advance for interrupting Adele so much. ?
A few clarifications regarding some of the books and people we talk about:
The scene in The Piper’s Son that Adele mentions is in the flashback to what happened before Tom and Tara’s relationship fell apart.
The actor who plays the lead character in Rush, and who is also in the Anna Karenina adaptation (The Beautiful Lie), is Rodger Corser. He is peak romantic suspense alpha hero in Rush. (Available on Netflix for Australian viewers; I’m not sure about the rest of the world.)
The Paleo chef from My Kitchen Rules is Pete Evans.
Huge shout out to Nicola/@alpha_heroes for listening to the podcast and making my RT experience such a fabulous one: I’m sure your book-con scrapbook is amazing!
