BT035. #SWF17 recap: I’m fancy af

Guests: Danielle Binks, Lauren Anderson, Rudi Bremer & Gabby | Host: Kat Mayo | Audio producer: Rudi Bremer | Recorded: 10/06/2017 Sydney

For the first time in many years, I was actually enthused by the Sydney Writers’ Festival program. Not so much because it had romance (it didn’t), but because the festival had some excellent guests this year. When Danielle Binks was in Sydney for an event associated with the Begin, End, Begin anthology, we decided to organise a small booklovers’ meet-up, which naturally evolved into a podcast session! This is the largest podcast group we’ve done so far for Book Thingo, and it was so much fun. And if you attended SWF, let us know in the comments what your highlights (and lowlights) were!

I love many things about your podcast, but one of the things you do that squeeze my heart, every time, in the BEST possible way, is to acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of whatever land you are when recording them.

Thank you for everything that all of you do for genre romance and its readers.
