Guest: Amber Bardan | Host: Kat Mayo | Audio producer: Rudi Bremer | Recorded: 26/02/2017 ARRC
As we approach our second podversary (yay!) one of the things I’d like to focus more on is introducing you to emerging authors in romance. Amber Bardan is the perfect guest for our anniversary week — she’s a relatively young author who writes contemporary heroines, but whose love for romance goes back to more old skool historical romance. You can meet Amber at Fictionally Yours, Melbourne in September, if you were lucky enough to score a ticket! A word of warning: this episode includes some rude words.
If you’re curious about the quickie audio reviews that I’m experimenting with, you can find some of them here, here, here, and here.
Thanks to @cparnell_c (twice), @AubreyLane90 and AztecLady for the shoutouts on Twitter.
Don’t forget that this week we have a bonus podcast episode to celebrate our second year of doing the show. You can download the episode as soon as it goes live by subscribing to the podcast. Otherwise, check back here on Thursday for unexpected mayhem!

::sniff::
Very cool episode and interview; now I want to go re-read some of my favorite Garwoods, as well as sample Ms Bardan’ work.
Thank you!
Thanks, AZ! I’m not a huge fan of Garwood’s romantic suspense, but her medieval historicals seem to have stood the test of time. I read them maybe 3 years ago and they were still very enjoyable.
