I caught up with Filipino reader Jothee Tan when she visited Sydney last year, and we managed to sneak in a quick conversation about books on her way to the airport. (Please excuse my husband’s cameo in this episode!) It was fascinating to discover that Jothee was not a reader until her brother gifted her a copy of Twilight. We talk about male strippers (yes, I seem to be developing a reputation for this, and I don’t know why???), #romanceclass recommendations, and zombie films.
