I’m currently addressing some parcels I owe to winners of past book giveaways. I’m sorry they didn’t make it for Christmas, but I hope they’ll herald a great start to your reading year.

Giveaway winners
Congratulations to Therese, who won a copy of Red Dust with entry on what she loves about celebrating an Aussie Christmas:
I love christmas in Australia because of the heat, getting together with family, hanging out with the neighbours, enjoying a wonderful baked dinner and then spending the afternoon playing games outside with everybody.
The result was pretty close because Wandergurl, Decadence and I all had different favourites!
We only received 3 entries for our Desperate Duchesses giveaway. That’ll teach me to post a giveaway smack in the middle of the holidays! The good news is that I have a spare copy of the book, so all 3 entrants will receive a prize. Congratulations to Angela, Mary and Katherine! Please email me your mailing address so I can send your book out to you.
Global Reading Challenge
Wandergurl is adding one more reading challenge on her list. She’s doing the 2010 Global Reading Challenge:
Easy Challenge
Read one novel from each of these continents in the course of 2010:
Africa
Asia
Australasia
Europe
North America (incl Central America)
South AmericaFrom your own continent: try to find a country, state or author that is new to you.
It’s the perfect challenge for her because she loves travel and history books.
