Vodcast: Romantic suspense recommendations for Aussie Author Month 2012

Kate and Kat talk about their favourite Australian romance authors. Part 8 of a series of vodcasts for Aussie Author Month 2012.

In this series, Kate and I talk about some of our favourite Australian romance authors, with some digression into our to-be-read lists. This time we talk about romantic suspense. No prizes for guessing our author picks. :-)

If you can’t see the video below, click here to view it directly on YouTube. It runs for just over five minutes.

Again, thanks to Ben Reynolds, who recorded these vodcasts for us.

Which Aussie authors of romantic suspense would you recommend, and which of their books should we start with? We’d love to know!

  1. Kaye Dobbie says:

Thanks for a very interesting talk. I’m a fan of romantic suspense and I’d add Sandy Curtis to the list. She’s a long time writer of the genre. Her first book was Dance with the Devil, and she was a R*BY finalist for this book (and another one Until Death). The books are linked but you don’t need to read them in order, they stand alone. I particularly enjoy her characters, they are very well written, and the plots are clever and gritty but you know you’re in for a satisfying ending. Oh, and they’re all available as e-books from Clan Destine Press.

  2. Kat says:

Ooh, I’ve read a Sandy Curtis book, and although it doesn’t stand out in my mind, I’m pretty sure I enjoyed it. I must remember to pick another one up. Thanks for the rec!
